Dr. Underwood and Associates have over a combined 50 years of experience in providing trauma recovery and mental health care to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. We are trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy). We utilize foundational approaches of CBT, Mindfulness, DBT, and Family Systems. Dr. Underwood and Associates have interests in working with issues of PTSD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, grief, loss by suicide, suicide prevention, disordered eating, substance use disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, emotional distress related to co-occurring medical issues, pregnancy loss and infertility, premarital counseling, divorce, career change, and sports performance.
