If you feel like you are constantly “in your head,” bracing for the next thing to go wrong, or carrying a deep sense of shame or self-doubt, you are not alone - and nothing is wrong with you. These patterns often make sense when we look at what you have lived through.
I believe healing is not about fixing yourself, but about reconnecting with your body, your emotions, and your inner wisdom. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and honesty as you untangle old survival strategies and create space for something new. Change can feel vulnerable and uncertain, but you do not have to navigate it alone.
Client Focus
Session Format: Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult, Senior, Teen, Young Adult
Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual, not forced into a one-size-fits-all model. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative, drawing from EMDR, DBT, CBT, somatic therapy, mindfulness, and other evidence-based practices.
I am trained in EMDR and certified in the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM®) Levels 1 and 2, which allows us to work directly with the nervous system to increase resilience, regulation, and a sense of internal safety. I also integrate attachment-based and relational perspectives, recognizing how early experiences shape our emotions, beliefs, and relationships.
Rather than pushing for change, we focus on creating enough safety and awareness for change to unfold naturally. My goal is not to erase the past, but to help you relate to it differently - so it no longer runs your present or limits your future.

My practice is centered on helping adults process trauma, navigate life transitions, and move out of survival mode into a more present, grounded way of living. Clients often come to me struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, relationship patterns, or a sense of being disconnected from themselves.
I take a whole-body, integrative approach to therapy. While insight and understanding are important, talk therapy alone is often not enough. Our work may include nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, trauma processing, mindfulness, and practical tools to help you feel more steady and resourced in daily life.
Sessions are collaborative, attuned, and nonjudgmental. We focus on understanding the deeper roots of your symptoms, building emotional safety, and creating meaningful, sustainable change - at a pace that feels respectful of your nervous system.
