Roger Thiessen
Licensed Professional Counsellor, CCC, MPS, M.Div
Who in your life truly listens to you? I base my practice in deep listening. I believe in your own inner owl: the innate wisdom you have but just can't find right now. My role is to provide a safe, gentle, non-judgmental and confidential space to help you get in touch with your wisdom so you can live your fullest life.
I've come to believe that the purpose of suffering is to help us better understand ourselves, our relationships and life itself. I would like to help you break through to what life has in store for you next. Fundamentally, there's nothing wrong with us; at difficult points in our lives, we all developed coping strategies that helped us survive but now, these strategies get in the way. Let's work together to facilitate your healing and growth.

On The Move Mental Health
Registered Social Worker, MSW, RSW
Welcome!
I work with children, youth, and adults. I provide sessions in three ways, in-office, walk & talk, and virtually. I take a holistic approach to practice, considering how our mind, emotions, body and spirit come together to frame our relationship to the world. I believe mental health to be not only the removal of challenges, but the creation of an active sense of well-being. So, in sessions together, I seek to focus not only on difficulties, but to consider what could be done to increase your resilience and sense of well-being. How we define health can vary widely, and some paths I tend to take focus on gratitude, mindfulness, self-compassion and vulnerability. I consider mental health to be a result of the interaction between a person and their environment and seek to consider how your values, stories about your life, and actions relate to your experiences.
I enjoy taking an adaptive approach that is flexible to focus on different aspects of your life. Coming from a feminist-narrative approach, I believe in partial expertise — that as a client and a therapist, we both have expertise, but what we know is incomplete. Only together, in collaboration, can we combine our expertise to create a full picture.
I have been working as a social worker for 10 years. I have a Master of Social Work (Dalhousie University), with a focus on a critical approaches to clinical practice. I completed a thesis on youth experiences of mental health in relation to participation in music oriented, community based programs. Prior to becoming a mental health therapist, I worked in preventative mental health with children, youth and their teachers.

Andrew Saliba
Counsellor/Therapist, CCC (Registration No. 11246757), APC (Registration No. 834ON24)
Together, I believe therapy can be both transformational and perhaps even enjoyable.
Maybe you'd like to begin working on some things, but aren't sure where to start. I believe everyone deserves a safe place to share, process, and to find inner healing. I welcome you as you are. Contact me to let me know about yourself or what you're seeking help about.
My journey has been neither easy nor straightforward, so I see the need for empathy, deep listening, and a non-judgemental approach to issues.
One of the reasons I became a counsellor was to support those with either pain from the past, questions about life, or problems that require someone who listens well and has expertise to help. My desire is to help you understand yourself better and navigate your circumstances with a sense of strength, hope, and togetherness.
