We carve out time for parents and children to play together to increase trust and connection. We also learn to practice self-compassion, which helps to build everyone’s window of tolerance. Most importantly, however, we go back and integrate primitive reflexes that are getting in the way of handling stress in a more consistent, regulated way. My primitive reflex integration work is a brain balance program that grows connections in the lower parts of the brain. This helps to create a foundation for a more resilient mind. So, together, we will get moving, have fun and grow some new connections.
