I have worked around the world- in Mexico, in the US, in Germany, in Japan, and in US, and worked in a wide variety of settings, including extensive work in community mental health, substance abuse/addictions, child welfare, and with military and veteran populations. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, mindfulness training, and other techniques. I also have incorporated many things I have learned in my travels and interactions with psychology in other cultures and countries into my extensive training. I use a mix of mindfulness based coping skills and provide a form of cognitive behavioral therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Along with some other approaches, we can work together to help you sustain long-term mental health improvement.
