I also draw inspiration from Gestalt methods, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and other forms of trauma support I learned from working with people of all ages. I want to explore your history and understand the root causes of your stress.
Our counseling sessions will allow you to express freely and get the most out of therapy. Hopefully, my methods could help you find your voice, value your authenticity and uniqueness, and eventually reach your goals. Dr. Brown is a double board certified psychiatrist and treats children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Brown is an expert in the treatment of OCD. He will also work with clients regarding issues with PTSD, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD. Dr. Brown focuses largely on using supplements and other natural treatments such as a behavioral change to find a path forward. However, he does prescribe medications as well when needed. The goal of treatment is the less medication overall the better as long as the person is doing ok.
In addition to supplements and medication management, unlike most psychiatrists, Dr. Brown also offers psychotherapy services for those who are interested. His open-ended approach aims to help clients find a deeper connection with themselves and for OCD folks is meant to be a compliment to their exposure treatment.
