People often come to therapy when something internal feels off, even if they can’t fully explain what it is. In my practice, I offer a space to slow down, reflect, and begin making sense of what’s been difficult to name or change on your own. My work is grounded in depth-oriented and trauma-informed approaches, tailored to support meaningful and lasting shifts, not just symptom relief. If you're seeking therapy that balances thoughtful exploration with practical support, I invite you to reach out.

Treatment Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) An evidence-based treatment for PTSD that teaches clients to reframe unhelpful thoughts about trauma. It helps reduce guilt, shame, and fear.
  • Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
  • Intersubjective Therapy Explores the shared emotional experience between therapist and client. It emphasizes connection and mutual understanding.
  • Object Relations Therapy Focuses on how early caregiver relationships shape current relationships. It aims to improve patterns of attachment and trust.
  • Psychoanalytic Therapy Based on Freud’s theories, it explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences. It seeks to bring hidden issues into awareness.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
  • Self Psychology Explores the development of self-esteem and identity. It emphasizes the importance of empathy in healing.
Approach Description: My therapeutic approach is integrative, blending psychodynamic and existential frameworks to engage with the deeper layers of your experience, while also incorporating cognitive-behavioral and skills-based techniques as needed for practical support. I have extensive experience working with survivors of both childhood and adult-onset trauma, which can have lasting effects on emotional responses, relationships, and sense of self. With this in mind, I practice from a trauma-informed perspective, moving at a pace that feels safe and respectful, and prioritizing your stability and empowerment throughout the process. By attending carefully to these aspects, therapy creates space for insight and healing that addresses root causes of distress, fostering not only symptom relief but also deeper self-understanding and meaningful growth.

Holly Passi Practice Description
Therapy can be a space where deeper clarity begins to emerge—especially when the usual ways of managing life start to feel strained or ineffective. Whether you're feeling emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or others, or caught in patterns that no longer make sense, our work together can help bring those experiences into focus. I offer an approach that is reflective and collaborative, combining psychological depth with practical support. My style is engaged, thoughtful, and attuned to the complexity of human experience. I draw from psychodynamic and existential perspectives, while also incorporating strategies that can help with grounding and day-to-day functioning. I’ve worked extensively with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions, as well as those seeking a more coherent sense of identity or purpose. I also bring a strong commitment to inclusivity and cultural responsiveness, informed by years of work in diverse medical and community settings. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and aim to create a space where your inner life, values, and history are approached with respect and curiosity. This work offers the chance to reconnect with your deeper self and embrace a broader sense of possibility.
