I am now providing the full range of counseling and hypnotherapy services to you via an ACA compliant, secure video platform or via your telephone. I continue to bring the broad range of training and experience to my work as a therapist from over the past 30 years. You can now have personal, professional counseling & hypnotherapy services in the comfort and convenience of your own home, office, or even your car.
I have learned that each person has a unique background, unique problems, and unique strengths. I've learned the importance of gaining a thorough understanding of my clients' situation & the issues with which they are struggling, and what their goals are. I work to help each client cope with their life stressors, and to tap into the conscious & unconscious resources that will help them heal & grow, empowering them to make changes that they want for themselves and achieve their goals.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Hypnotherapy Uses guided relaxation and focus to access the subconscious mind. It is often used for habits, anxiety, and pain management.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.

Since every person is unique in their backgrounds, in the situations with which they are coping, and in their temperament; I work with each of my clients to select the approach or approaches that will be most helpful to him or her. I use a wide range of approaches to help people achieve the results they want as quickly as possible. These approaches fall into 4 general categories.
1. A client-centered approach which primarily involves my listening to the client, helping them to think through their situation, look at it from a variety of perspectives, and challenging them to create their own solutions.
2. A cognitive oriented approach, in which I help clients recognize the thoughts that go into creating their distressing feelings, and I teach them skills to change these thoughts. This may also involve teaching Mindfulness skills to help the person cope with & release these distressing thoughts & feelings more effectively.
3. Using hypnotherapy, Neurolinguistic Programming, & Thought Pattern Management approaches to gain access to the unconscious resources that can help the client resolve and heal from past traumas, and to quickly & easily change the habitual patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that have been causing problems for the client.
4. A somatic (also called “psycho-physical” or “energy medicine”) approach that taps into the powers of the body to heal and create a change of a psychological nature.
