I believe therapy works best when it feels human, safe, and grounded — not rushed or overly clinical. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and outwardly “doing fine,” yet inside feel anxious, disconnected, or worn down by constant self-pressure.
My role as a therapist is to help you slow things down enough to listen to what’s really happening beneath the surface. Together, we create space for greater clarity, emotional regulation, and self-trust — so you’re not just getting through life, but actually feeling present in it.
Client Focus
Session Format: Group, Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult
Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Combines low doses of ketamine with psychotherapy to treat depression, trauma, and anxiety. It can provide relief when other methods haven’t worked.
- Transpersonal Therapy Integrates spirituality and higher states of consciousness with psychology. It encourages growth beyond the individual self.
Approach Description: My approach integrates mindfulness-based therapy, nervous system education, somatic awareness, and compassionate inquiry. This work helps clients develop the capacity to notice thoughts and emotions without being overwhelmed by them, and to respond to challenges with greater steadiness and choice.
I draw from evidence-based practices while remaining deeply relational and present in the room. Therapy is not about fixing you — it’s about supporting your natural ability to regulate, heal, and grow when given the right conditions.

AWAKE Mindful Therapy is a space for adults who want to feel more at ease in their bodies, more centered in their lives, and more connected to who they truly are. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and a sense of feeling “stuck” despite doing many things right.
Sessions are collaborative, experiential, and paced to support your nervous system — not push it. Rather than focusing only on symptom management, our work is oriented toward building awareness, resilience, and practical skills you can carry into everyday life.
I offer online therapy throughout Colorado and in-person sessions in Evergreen, creating flexible options for support that fits real life.
