While I work with all clients, I also recognize the value (and the struggle) of finding a therapist with shared identities. That's why I share my positionality as a queer, trans, fluid, autistic, Iraqi, disabled, and vegan individual. I hope this helps folx with historically excluded identities since I know from my own experience how nice it can be to have a therapist who shares similar experiences and identities. I connect with my clients with genuine care and authenticity. I listen to my clients about what they are seeking from therapy, and we co-create our work together based on your needs and wishes. Some tools I can offer are somatic practices (processing emotions and experiences through the body), a wide variety of tools for regulation, and just talking through things to help you find truth, self worth, transformation, or whatever your goals may be. I have been trained through anti-oppression and decolonial positionalities. I prioritize the safety and autonomy of my clients. I have worked with people from all backgrounds and identities.
