I understand how deeply a difficult or narcissistic relationship can impact the way you see yourself. Many of the women I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and used to holding it all together—but internally feel unsettled, disconnected, or unsure of who they are anymore. In our work together, I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down and begin to make sense of what you’ve been through. This isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level coping—it’s about meaningful, lasting change. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, exploring patterns, rebuilding self-trust, and helping you reconnect with your own voice and inner stability. My approach is both compassionate and intentional. I want you to feel deeply understood, while also gaining insight and tools that create real shifts in your daily life. Over time, this work helps you develop a stronger sense of self, clearer boundaries, and a more grounded confidence that doesn’t depend on others. If you’re ready to invest in yourself and create lasting change, I’d be honored to support you in that process.

Treatment Approach

  • Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is integrative, combining practical tools with deeper, insight-oriented work to support meaningful and lasting change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic therapy to help you address both the thoughts and patterns that keep you stuck, as well as the emotional and physical impact of your experiences. CBT helps us identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, while IFS allows us to gently explore different parts of yourself—especially the inner critic and protective patterns that may have developed in response to past relationships. Somatic therapy brings awareness to how stress and emotions are held in the body, helping you feel more grounded, regulated, and connected to yourself. Rather than focusing only on surface-level coping, my work is centered on helping you understand yourself more deeply, rebuild self-trust, and create lasting internal change. Sessions are collaborative and paced to meet your needs, offering both support and practical tools you can use in your everyday life. For those who desire it, I also offer faith-based integration, incorporating spiritual perspectives into the healing process in a way that feels authentic and supportive to you.

Fees & Insurance

  • Average Session Fee $165

  • Out of Network
  • I am an out-of-network provider and do not participate directly with insurance companies. This allows therapy to be guided by your unique needs, goals, and circumstances rather than the limitations or requirements often set by insurance plans. I understand that paying for therapy out of pocket can feel like a significant investment. To help make services more accessible, I support clients in utilizing their out-of-network benefits whenever possible. Many insurance plans offer some level of reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services. If your plan includes these benefits, you may be able to recover a portion of the cost of therapy. I am happy to provide the documentation needed to assist with that process. To make things easier, I offer access to Thrizer, a tool that can help you check your out-of-network benefits, estimate reimbursement, and submit claims with greater ease and less administrative burden. **Check your benefits through Thrizer on my website: https://www.lifebydesigncounseling.com/rates-payment-options
