My practice is grounded in one central idea: that family, in all of its forms, deserves to be understood, supported, and thoughtfully nurtured. I have the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families at some of the most meaningful—and often most vulnerable—moments in their lives. Whether someone is building a family, navigating challenges within one, or redefining what family means to them, my goal is always to create a space that feels both safe and genuinely supportive. A significant part of my work focuses on family building, including comprehensive evaluations for adoption, assisted reproduction, and other non-traditional pathways to parenthood. I have extensive experience working with adoptive parents, intended parents, and families formed through surrogacy, donation, and other modern family-building processes. These evaluations are not just procedural—they are an opportunity to reflect, prepare, and enter parenthood with clarity and confidence. In addition to evaluation work, I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families. I approach this work with warmth, directness, and deep respect for each person’s experience. Whether addressing relationship strain, life transitions, trauma, or the complexities of parenting, I aim to help people better understand themselves and each other, and to move forward with intention. I have a particular passion for working with non-traditional families—those whose paths may fall outside of conventional expectations but are no less meaningful or deserving of support. My practice is inclusive, affirming, and grounded in the belief that there is no single “right” way to build or be a family. Above all, I strive to offer a space where people feel seen, understood, and guided—not judged. This is deeply personal work, and I consider it an honor to be part of my clients’ journeys.

Treatment Approach

  • Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
  • Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Combines low doses of ketamine with psychotherapy to treat depression, trauma, and anxiety. It can provide relief when other methods haven’t worked.
  • Object Relations Therapy Focuses on how early caregiver relationships shape current relationships. It aims to improve patterns of attachment and trust.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Transactional Analysis Explores interactions through the lens of Parent, Adult, and Child roles. It aims to improve communication and self-awareness.
Approach Description: My approach is thoughtful, engaged, and grounded in genuine curiosity about each person’s experience. I tend to be both warm and direct—I believe people do best when they feel deeply understood, but also when they are gently challenged to look at patterns, assumptions, and dynamics that may be keeping them stuck. I draw from a range of perspectives, including psychodynamic, attachment-based, and systems-oriented work, always with an eye toward how past experiences shape present relationships. At the same time, I stay very focused on what is happening in the here and now—how people communicate, respond to one another, and make meaning of their lives and relationships. In my work with individuals, couples, and families, I pay close attention to emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and the often unspoken expectations that shape connection. I aim to help clients develop greater insight, increase emotional flexibility, and build more intentional and satisfying ways of relating to themselves and others. When working in the context of family building and evaluations, my approach is both clinically rigorous and deeply human. I view the process not simply as an assessment, but as an opportunity for reflection, preparation, and growth. Above all, I strive to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and real—where people can speak openly, think more clearly about their lives, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

Fees & Insurance

Fees
  • Average Session Fee 300
  • Affordable sliding scale therapy: apply if you may be eligible.
  • I believe that therapy should be accessible, and I make every effort to work with clients to find a fee structure that is manageable. A limited number of sliding scale appointments are available based on financial need. If cost is a concern, I encourage you to reach out. We can discuss your situation and explore options together. My goal is to ensure that finances are not a barrier to receiving thoughtful, consistent care, while also maintaining the integrity and sustainability of the practice. For services that require a more expedited timeline—such as adoption or family-building evaluations—I prioritize timely scheduling and efficient turnaround, and I’m always transparent about fees and expectations from the outset.
