I offer a warm, grounded, culturally attuned space for adults moving through emotional distress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
My work is integrative and trauma-informed, helping clients understand the patterns beneath their struggles, reconnect with their emotions, and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves.

Treatment Approach
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: My approach is integrative, relational, and trauma-informed. I draw from person-centred therapy, somatic therapy, parts-based work, interpersonal therapy, multicultural therapy, and emotionally focused therapy.
In practice, this means we may explore your emotions, body responses, inner critic, relationship patterns, family dynamics, cultural background, and the protective parts of you that have learned to cope in certain ways. I work at a pace that feels safe and collaborative, supporting you to understand what is happening beneath the surface while also building practical tools for emotional regulation, boundaries, self-compassion, and healthier relationships.

Therapy Sessions

Our sessions are a space to slow down and understand what is happening beneath the surface. We may explore patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down, staying guarded, or feeling responsible for everyone else’s emotions. Often, these patterns once made sense, but over time they can become exhausting.
I work relationally and reflectively, drawing on person-centred therapy, CBT, somatic work, parts-based therapy, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed practice. I have a particular interest in working with bicultural and multicultural clients navigating identity, belonging, family expectations, and the pressure to seem “fine” while carrying a lot underneath.
