Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in survival mode — overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to create a space where you can show up honestly, without judgment or pressure, and feel supported while working through whatever has brought you here.
Client Focus
Session Format: Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult
Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I believe that every individual is different, which is why I take the time to truly get to know each client rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. I strive to create a space that is supportive, non-judgmental, and honest, where clients feel comfortable being themselves and open about what is or is not working for them in therapy. I value direct communication and encourage ongoing feedback throughout the process, believing that therapy works best when clients feel empowered, respected, and actively involved in their own care.

Therapy is not about being “broken” or having all the answers before you begin. Often, people reach out because they are tired of carrying the weight of stress, trauma, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion on their own and want a space where they no longer have to navigate everything alone.
I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges including trauma, anxiety, burnout, self-esteem struggles, relationship difficulties, chronic stress, and major life transitions. I also have a particular appreciation for working with first responders and men’s mental health. Many of the clients I work with are people who are used to functioning at a high level outwardly while internally feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns they no longer understand.
Trauma is an area I feel especially passionate about. Trauma can come from significant life events, but it can also develop through ongoing stress, difficult relationships, childhood experiences, emotionally unsafe environments, or years spent in survival mode. These experiences can impact how we view ourselves, connect with others, regulate emotions, and move through daily life, often without fully realizing how much we have been carrying.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each individual. I primarily draw from EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), while integrating other approaches depending on what best fits the client and their goals. I believe therapy should adapt to the person, not the other way around.
In sessions, I aim to create an environment that feels genuine, grounded, and supportive. Therapy does not need to feel overly clinical or intimidating. Alongside deeper emotional processing, sessions may include practical coping strategies, psychoeducation, self-reflection, skill-building, and exploring patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Whether you are processing trauma, struggling with anxiety or burnout, feeling disconnected from yourself, or simply looking for support during a difficult season of life, therapy can offer a space to better understand yourself, build resilience, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable for you.
