Treatment Approach
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I use evidence-based approaches like Person-Centered, Culturally Sensitive, and Solution-Focused therapy.

You don’t have to be in crisis to start therapy. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected in your relationship, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, support can make a meaningful difference. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I work primarily with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, stress, communication challenges, boundary setting, self-worth concerns, and relationship or family conflict.
Many of my clients come to therapy wanting to improve communication, rebuild trust, break generational cycles, heal from past experiences, or feel more secure within themselves and their relationships. Together, we focus on developing practical coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
I provide a culturally responsive and affirming space, especially for individuals within BIPOC and Latinx communities balancing personal growth with cultural, relational, and family expectations. I also work with adolescents (14+) experiencing anxiety, self-esteem challenges, bullying, or family stress, and support families in strengthening connection and communication.
I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative partnership—one where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Whether you're seeking support as an individual, navigating challenges in your relationship, or looking to create healthier patterns for yourself and your family, you don't have to do it alone.
If you're ready to feel more confident, connected, and aligned with the life you want to create, I would be honored to support you on that journey.
