I pride myself on my ability to connect with others easily and create a sense of comfort when interacting. I recognize that speaking to a complete stranger about your private experiences can feel uncomfortable and even scary. I seek to invite you into a shared space in which we can become curious together about whatever is causing you distress. Hopefully, the relationship you build with me can empower you to heal and transform the relationship you have with yourself and significant others in your life. I can help you understand what it is that you are experiencing, how you learned to navigate stressors over time, and identify ways to adjust your responses to stress in order to prioritize healthy coping and valued choices.

Treatment Approach

  • Developmental Therapy Looks at how childhood and developmental experiences affect current challenges. It aims to repair unmet needs and foster healthy growth.
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
  • Intersubjective Therapy Explores the shared emotional experience between therapist and client. It emphasizes connection and mutual understanding.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
  • Self Psychology Explores the development of self-esteem and identity. It emphasizes the importance of empathy in healing.
Approach Description: I believe strongly in attachment science and that people live in relation with everything around them and within them. My approach invites clients to examine themselves in a way that incorporates the context they grew up in, how they learned to protect themselves while confronting the world, and how showing up in certain ways inadvertently contributes to distress rather than moving them towards their goals. In school I specialized in marriage and family approaches and worked with clients facing relationship turmoil, parenting challenges, divorce, dating, social anxiety, and self-esteem concerns. I invite clients who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression, have experienced trauma, or who are seeking to improve their relationship with themselves and/or others.
