After 20 years in the field, I have been honored to support clients from different countries, races, backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, religions and social contexts. I am familiar with how often people can experience their world as dismissive, invalidating, silencing, and hurtful. This can make it difficult to get your needs met and find the satisfaction and peace you want in your life.

Client Focus

Treatment Approach

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
  • Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
  • Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
  • Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: My style is laid back. I offer traditional conversational talk therapy. Clients report that I am approachable and ask good questions to help them explore their experience more in depth and from different perspectives. I use an integrative approach, which refers to a therapist's ability to see each person as an individual and consider their strengths, fears, cultures, background & supports during treatment planning and conceptualization. As a result, therapy is tailored to each individual. Our work will be conversational, exploratory, patient, and non-judgmental. We will work together with me as a guide for you to help you reach your goals. Whether you're new to therapy or you're starting with someone new for a different chapter of support; we will work together to figure out how to get you there. Change often comes with discomfort and adjustment. My role is to help you navigate that discomfort without crossing into pain, significant distress, or intrusions into your daily life.
