Success of therapeutic change begins with the relationship between you and your therapist. I believe effective change grows from a foundation of trust, respect, and the understanding of a desire for self-improvement. I work collaboratively to identify areas of concern while providing support throughout the counseling process. You have unique experiences that shape who you are, and how you respond to situations. I believe progress can be made by gaining an understanding of how these experiences influence responses in the present.
Using CBT and DBT modalities, I assist with recognizing what works well, and what areas have opportunity for improvement. Positive change can begin by recognizing behaviors that are no longer serving you well, what maintains those behaviors, and appropriately challenging them when ready.
This knowledge can help one move forward with new skills and improved effectiveness. I provide a comfortable, non-judgmental, and caring environment, and currently working with adults, couples, and LGBTQ populations.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.

Therapy can provide an opportunity to better understand yourself, work through current challenges, and develop new ways of responding to the situations life brings. I believe effective counseling begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, compassion, and collaboration.
My practice focuses on helping adults, couples, and LGBTQ+ individuals explore concerns that may be affecting their emotional well-being, relationships, and day-to-day lives. Together, we identify areas of concern, explore patterns that may be contributing to difficulties, and develop practical strategies for creating positive change.
Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I help clients build awareness of the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing skills for coping, communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving.
My goal is to provide a comfortable, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your experiences openly and feel empowered to make changes that align with the life and relationships you want to create.
