Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: Many of my clients struggle due to low self-esteem, unrealistic expectations for themselves, fear of failure, perfectionism, desire to control everything, and anxiety. As a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, I am trained in the Daring Way™, a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The primary focus is developing shame resiliency skills and daily practices that transform how you live, love, parent, and lead. I also incorporate interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The focus is to teach you how to adapt to whatever life throws at you, move forward in your life, and learn how to deal with any thoughts and feelings.
