Treatment Approach

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
Approach Description: My clinical experience includes outpatient treatment with individuals, couples and families in both social service and mental health settings. I am currently in private practice specializing in trauma therapy with individuals and EFT & Gottman method with couples.

As a solo practitioner, I am able to offer quality counseling and psychotherapy services on a personal level. I have cared for a generation of families. I am focused on providing high-quality counseling services to a wide variety of clientele in southwestern Indiana. I specialize in marriage and family counseling, all forms of addictions counseling including alcohol, drugs, food, sex and gambling(see my blog regarding the new EMDR-FSAP protocol), evidenced based trauma counseling including EMDR, prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy and address issues associated with anxiety, depression, and adult children of dysfunctional families. With a variety of counseling options to choose from, I hope to be able to address your mental health needs and relationship issues.
