In a world of one-size-fits-all therapy, my practice stands apart through deeply personalized care. I understand that your healing journey is uniquely yours, which is why I never rely on formulaic or cookie-cutter approaches. Instead, I create individualized treatment plans tailored specifically to your needs, history, and goals. I don't tell you what you should do—I help guide you to make the best decisions for yourself.
What sets my practice apart is my commitment to authentic connection and methods rooted in both research and lived experience. Research shows that the single variable correlating most strongly with successful therapy outcomes isn't the specific method used—it's whether you feel genuinely understood and emotionally safe with your therapist. I've built this kind of connection with clients across wildly different backgrounds and circumstances.
My approach blends evidence-based techniques (CBT, ACT, Coherence Therapy, clinical hypnosis) with mindfulness practices and what I call "a healthy dose of woo." I bring the wisdom of clinical training alongside the understanding that comes from my own healing journey, including my experience with parentification and the deep work of unlearning old patterns. This combination allows me to guide you with authentic confidence and practical insight—not just theoretical knowledge.
If you've felt unheard, dismissed, or exhausted by therapy that felt like checking boxes or repeating the same surface-level strategies, you've found a different kind of resource. Many of my clients come to me after years of talk therapy that addressed symptoms without getting to the root of what's creating their struggles. Through my "update your operating system" approach, we access the deeper patterns and beliefs that may have been overlooked in conventional therapy settings.
My style is warm, direct, and refreshingly real—no therapy-speak or pretentious analysis. I trust that when we create the right conditions, your own inner knowing will guide us exactly where we need to go. There's something almost magical about this work when we trust the process.
Consider contacting me if you:
- Are experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, trauma effects, or relationship struggles (rather than acute crises)
- Sense that your current patterns have roots you haven't fully explored or understood
- Are ready for an approach that gets to the "why" behind your struggles, not just symptom management
- Want to develop practical skills and deeper self-understanding to create lasting change
- Value a collaborative partnership where you're not being fixed or rescued, but genuinely supported
I particularly welcome clients who are curious, open to looking at their lives holistically, and ready to do the sometimes uncomfortable work of growth. If you want genuine understanding, practical tools, and someone who has your back as you navigate complex emotions and life challenges, we'll likely be a good match.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Hypnotherapy Uses guided relaxation and focus to access the subconscious mind. It is often used for habits, anxiety, and pain management.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.

Professional Experience & Qualifications
With over a decade of licensure as a therapist, I bring extensive experience working with adults across all age ranges. My practice is built on a foundation of continuing education and specialized certifications, including professional coaching credentials that complement my therapeutic approach.
Therapeutic Methodology
For those interested in the technical aspects of my work, I utilize an integrative framework that draws from multiple evidence-based modalities:
-Clinical Hypnosis: Accessing subconscious patterns to facilitate healing and change
-Coherence Therapy: Looking at why we hold ourselves back from what we most want in life
-Parts Work: Working with different parts of self to promote harmony and healing
-CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): Identifying and restructuring thought patterns that impact health
-Narrative Therapy: Reframing personal stories to support health and well-being
-Brief Solution Focused Therapy: Creating practical, achievable steps toward health goals
Coaching Integration
My certification as a professional coach brings additional dimensions to my work, incorporating principles of positive psychology (without toxic positivity) and a forward-focused orientation. This coaching perspective helps clients not only address current health challenges but also develop actionable strategies for creating the life they envision beyond symptom management.
Practice Scope & Limitations
As a specialized practitioner focused on health-related hypnotherapy, I maintain clear boundaries regarding my practice scope:
I do not work with:
-Individuals experiencing moderate to severe impairment in one or more life areas
-Cases involving acute unprocessed trauma requiring specialized trauma treatment
-Conditions requiring specialized training and protocols (such as eating disorders, Bipolar Disorder, or personality disorders)
As a solo practitioner, I lack the infrastructure (such as 24/7 support lines) necessary to appropriately support clients with:
-Active suicidal ideation
-Current self-harming behaviors
-Urges to harm others
In such cases, I'm happy to provide referrals to practitioners or programs better equipped to provide the level of support needed.
Ideal Client Profile
My practice is best suited for individuals who:
-Are generally stable but struggling with specific health-related concerns
-Have adequate support systems in place
-Are motivated to engage actively in the therapeutic process
-Are open to mind-body approaches to health and healing
