My mission as a mental health clinician is to help my clients learn how to talk about sex in a healthy, unapologetic, sex-positive way and to confront and address past trauma so they can move into the present and enjoy a fulfilling life.

Treatment Approach
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoanalytic Therapy Based on Freud’s theories, it explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences. It seeks to bring hidden issues into awareness.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
Approach Description: I am formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Person-Centered (Rogerian) Therapy. I also leverage the power of observing and practicing through a systems-based approach where I view each client as the whole person and honor the different facets of their identities which arrive in the therapy space including gender, sexuality, race/ethnicity, religious/spiritual beliefs, family of origin experiences, to name a few.
