Treatment Approach

  • Art Therapy Uses creative activities like drawing, painting, or sculpture as a way to express emotions. It is especially helpful when words are hard to find.
  • Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
  • Biopsychosocial Therapy Takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding mental health. It looks at the whole person, not just symptoms.
  • Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Developmental Therapy Looks at how childhood and developmental experiences affect current challenges. It aims to repair unmet needs and foster healthy growth.
  • Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
  • Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
  • Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
  • Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Play Therapy Uses toys, games, and creative play to help children express emotions. It is especially useful when children can’t fully verbalize their feelings.
  • Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) Helps clients challenge and replace irrational beliefs. It is an action-oriented approach for lasting change.
  • Social Learning Therapy Based on the idea that people learn behaviors by observing others. It applies modeling and reinforcement to encourage healthy change.
  • Transactional Analysis Explores interactions through the lens of Parent, Adult, and Child roles. It aims to improve communication and self-awareness.
Approach Description: Our developmental approach considers the life stage of the individual or family constellation and tailors our approach to their age, skills, attributes and interests.

Alexina Baldini Practice Description
Our team at Enable Workplace Consulting pride themselves on providing quality counselling, therapy, assessment, mentoring, supervision, coaching, mediation, consultation, training and crisis response services for individuals, groups and organisations. We specialise in providing workplace support to organisations who may require an external provider to support your internal support systems. This may be through our Industrial Relations and Workplace Consultancy section of the business, that provides training and consultancy in areas such as bullying prevention, addressing harassment (including sexual harassment) in the workplace, and dealing with interpersonal conflict. It may be through our services to those who have been injured at work (either physically or psychologically or both) where we provide rehabilitation counselling and trauma treatment. Another avenue may be through tailored workplace support that offer specific counselling for staff and/or volunteers to enhance their wellbeing and effectiveness in the workplace, for example through a specialised Employee Assistance Program. We have a diverse team whose experience and expertise can readily match most referrals, and a network of referral partners that we access if the referral requires a specialty we may not have available at the time. This means that most people are able to be supported by our team and colleagues. Our office hours are below (when there is someone to talk to you about your referral) however our therapists work earlier and later than these hours, including weekends, to suit client need.
