Treatment Approach

  • Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
  • Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
  • Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
  • Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
  • Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
  • Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) Helps clients challenge and replace irrational beliefs. It is an action-oriented approach for lasting change.
  • Reality Therapy / Choice Theory Focuses on present choices and taking responsibility for actions. It helps clients create more fulfilling relationships and lives.

Andrew D. Sapp Practice Description
Providing individual therapy is one of the ways I give back. I find the work deeply meaningful and rewarding, as it allows me to empower others to improve their lives. My enthusiasm for helping people gives me a strong sense of purpose as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. My favorite clients are those who genuinely want help, are open to change, and are willing to take action to improve their circumstances. Collaborating with motivated individuals who approach challenges with an open mind and courage makes the therapeutic process enjoyable and productive. I am inspired by clients who are brave enough to take steps toward positive change, and I find great satisfaction in helping them help themselves. I work with clients of various ages and address a wide range of issues. My specialties include supporting adults, teens, and pre-teens who struggle with anxiety, depression, negative self-talk, low self-confidence, ADHD, panic disorder, and difficulties adjusting to challenging situations and life stressors. I also assist clients dealing with relationship concerns, parenting challenges, autism, and goal attainment. Coaching and Career Support In addition to therapy, I enjoy offering life coaching and career coaching. Helping young people find clarity in their career paths is especially fulfilling to me. I am passionate about guiding individuals as they navigate uncertainties and work toward personal and professional growth. My interests extend to providing support for various groups, including our nation’s military members, first responders, medical professionals, entrepreneurs, business professionals, educators, therapists, and tradespeople—all of whom play vital roles in our society. Empowering Clients to Thrive As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, my goal is to empower clients to not only cope but thrive during difficult times. I specialize in therapy for adults, teens, and pre-teens facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-confidence, and significant life transitions. Through my work, I strive to inspire meaningful change and support individuals from all walks of life in reaching their full potential.
