I have dedicated my practice to working with individuals in eating disorder recovery, recovery from disordered eating, or who are struggling in their relationship with their body. I hope to be a partner in your recovery journey, offering support and skills. You don't have to identify as having an eating disorder (or believe you are "sick enough") to want a more peaceful relationship with your body. Recovery is always possible, even though it is more complex and complicated than ever. There is an overwhelming amount of information about health, wellness, and recovery- I am here to help you sort through the noise and find what works for you!

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: My training is grounded in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) approaches. While the foundation of my work is the structure and skill-building of CBT, I individually tailor the structure of therapy to your needs and the challenges of your daily life. I also incorporate the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES), when that is appropriate and wanted.
