Treatment Approach
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Neuropsychology Examines how brain function affects thinking, memory, and behavior. It often involves assessment and rehabilitation strategies.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
Approach Description: Audra provides a combination of approaches to include EMDR, IFS, Attachment and Polyvagal theories. She attunes to and collaborates with each person to discern what is needed and how to weave these together in a way that focuses on your healing and towards living into your potential. Together, we work to find a way through the struggles, pain and challenges that life can bring so that you no longer need to be afraid of these. Audra will work with you to seek connection to deep joy and peace, even in the midst of the hard times.

- I have a few slots, that when available, can help insure that clients who have financial challenges or constraints are able to access quality therapy services.

- I am in network with Anthem. I offer a Superbill for those whom I am out of network. Many clients are able to get a partial reimbursement for services. I recommend to check your benefits with your insurance provider.

Audra is an EMDR therapist certified by EMDRIA and passionate about continuing her training to deepen her knowledge and skills. Audra has over 30 years of experience offering therapy in a variety of settings using various modalities, including music therapy and pastoral counseling. These experiences have informed her practice today while she continues to hone and deepen her skills as a trauma informed therapist. She brings a warmth and compassion to her work. She strives to build a therapeutic relationship built on trust, safety and support. Trauma and attachment wounding work is personal and strenuous and requires a deep level of support and safety in order to commit to the path of healing that she has witnessed is available to everyone.
