Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW
 therapist: Blair Pallas,
Online in New Jersey, Pennsylvania (Online Only)
If you’re exhausted from chasing certainty and living a life shaped by "what-ifs," you're doing more than just worrying—you’re watching your world shrink to fit your fears. Safety shouldn't feel like a prison. Instead of staying locked in a losing battle with your thoughts and anxious feelings, I help you change how you respond to them. By pivoting from managing symptoms and avoiding triggers to utilizing evidence based strategies, we will work together to regain your footing. We won't just quiet the noise; we’ll redirect your energy toward the goals and values that actually matter to you.

Client Focus

Session Format: Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult, Senior, Young Adult

Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
Approach Description: Our work takes place in dedicated, 60-minute blocks, allowing us the time needed to move beyond surface-level conversation and into active skill-building. These sessions are designed to be interactive and practical. We spend our time identifying the specific internal 'loops' that trigger distress and practicing real-time strategies to shift your response to them. Rather than just talking about your week, we focus on the connection between your thoughts and your actions, setting clear, measurable goals for the days between our meetings. This is a collaborative process where we use a variety of proven tools to help you stay grounded during difficult moments, ensuring that every session serves as a direct step toward fully re-engaging with the life you want to lead.
