Treatment Approach
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
Approach Description: My primary modality for therapy is Internal Family Systems, integrated with EMDR if it is appropriate for the client. Throughout therapy we will use "parts mapping" to identify possible targets for processing. If EMDR is used for processing, the use of IFS helps and strengthens its effectiveness. Individually, each modality is a powerful therapeutic tool; when combined they are awesome.

- Affordable sliding scale therapy: apply if you may be eligible.
- Sliding Scale is based on the client's financial ability to pay. The scale runs from $45.00 to full fee.
