Hi, I'm Jasmine. Maybe you've become so good at holding everything together that you hardly notice how much you're carrying anymore. You're dependable, thoughtful, and capable. People count on you. But underneath it all, you're exhausted, anxious, disconnected from yourself, or wondering why life feels harder than it looks. I work with high-functioning adults who are ready to stop simply getting through life and start feeling more connected to themselves. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine curiosity. Together, we'll slow things down, understand the patterns that have shaped your life, and create lasting change that feels meaningful and embodied.

Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
  • Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
  • Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I believe lasting change happens when we move beyond simply understanding ourselves and begin experiencing ourselves differently. My work integrates Somatic Experiencing, the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), psychodynamic therapy, and relational therapy. Together, these approaches help us explore not only your thoughts and emotions, but also what your body has learned through experience and how earlier relationships may still be shaping your life today. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" we'll become curious about the adaptations that once helped you survive and whether they're still serving you now. Some sessions may focus on insight and connecting the dots between past and present. Other times we'll slow down enough to notice what's happening in your body, creating space for your nervous system to experience something new. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where all parts of you are welcome—where you feel understood, reconnect with yourself, and discover that meaningful change doesn't have to come from pushing harder. Sometimes it begins by finally slowing down.

Jasmine Wilson Practice Description
Adaptive Resolutions Counseling is a small, independently owned private practice built around one simple idea: therapy should feel deeply personal. When you reach out, you'll work directly with me from our first consultation through every session. There isn't a large team or rotating providers—just one consistent therapeutic relationship where you can feel known over time. Many of the people I work with have spent years taking care of everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. They're often navigating anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, perfectionism, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. They've become incredibly good at functioning—but they're tired of surviving. My approach is warm, relational, and depth-oriented. Together, we'll explore not only what's happening today but also the experiences and patterns that continue shaping your life. Over time, many clients notice they feel less driven by pressure and more connected to themselves, their relationships, and the life they're creating. Sessions are available in person in Brea, California, and online throughout California and Arizona.
