Hi, I’m Jasmine. Maybe you’ve become so good at holding everything together that you hardly notice how much you’re carrying anymore. You’re dependable, thoughtful, and capable. People count on you. But they may not see how much effort it takes to keep everything going. You might feel anxious or overwhelmed, question yourself more than you’d like, or realize that you’re much better at knowing what everyone else needs than knowing what you need yourself. I work with adults who are used to carrying a lot and are getting tired of doing it the same way. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and curious. Together, we’ll slow things down, pay attention to what keeps showing up, and help you become more familiar with what you feel, need, and want so you have more choice in how you move through your life.

Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
  • Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
  • Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: Sometimes understanding why you do something doesn’t necessarily make it easier to do something different. You might know where a pattern comes from, recognize it while it’s happening, and still find yourself responding in the same familiar way. My work integrates Somatic Experiencing, the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), psychodynamic therapy, and relational therapy. This means we’ll talk about what’s happening in your life and make connections between past and present, while also paying attention to what happens in your body, your relationships, and in the moment. We’ll get curious about how you learned to navigate relationships, expectations, stress, and difficult experiences, as well as what happens now when those familiar ways of responding show up. The goal isn’t to judge or immediately get rid of them, but to understand them while helping you have more choice in how you respond. Some sessions may involve talking, reflecting, and connecting the dots. Other times, we may slow down and notice that your shoulders tense when you talk about a certain relationship, that you automatically say “I’m fine” when something actually bothers you, or that you have a hard time staying with what you feel without immediately trying to explain it. There isn’t one right way to do therapy with me. We’ll pay attention to what feels useful, what you’re noticing, and what you want for yourself as our work unfolds. Over time, the hope is that you understand yourself better while also becoming more familiar with what you feel, need, and want.

Jasmine Wilson Practice Description
Adaptive Resolutions Counseling is a small, independently owned private practice built around one simple idea: therapy should feel personal. When you reach out, you’ll work directly with me from our first consultation through every session. There isn’t a large team or rotating providers—just one consistent therapeutic relationship where I can get to know you over time. Many of the adults I work with are used to being the people others can count on. They manage a lot, keep things moving, and often appear capable even when they’re anxious, overwhelmed, or questioning themselves underneath it all. Some have spent so much time paying attention to what other people need that knowing what they need themselves has become surprisingly difficult. My approach is warm, relational, and curious. We’ll talk about what’s happening in your life while also paying attention to the patterns that keep showing up, what you notice in your body, and how your past may still influence the way you experience yourself and your relationships today. The goal is to help you understand yourself better, trust what you feel and need, and have more choice in how you respond. Sessions are available in person in Brea, California, and online throughout California and Arizona.
