therapist: Jennifer Pudlo Therapy & Wellness Consulting,

Seeking therapy is a courageous first step, and I know how important it is to find someone you feel comfortable trusting. My hope is that from our very first conversation, you'll experience a space where you can exhale, feel genuinely heard, and know that you don't have to carry life's challenges alone. I believe meaningful change happens within the safety of a trusting therapeutic relationship. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, combining evidence-based practices with deep respect for your unique story, strengths, and values. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we'll work together to understand the patterns that have shaped your experiences and discover new ways of responding that promote lasting healing and growth. I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, betrayal and infidelity, trauma, infertility, postpartum challenges, perimenopause, grief, body image concerns, and major life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready for something to change, therapy can provide a place to gain clarity, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with yourself and the people who matter most. Clients often tell me they appreciate having a therapist who is both compassionate and practical—someone who offers thoughtful guidance while creating space for reflection, insight, and meaningful change. My goal is not to tell you how to live your life, but to walk alongside you as you discover your own path toward greater peace, confidence, and connection. If you're considering therapy, I invite you to reach out. Finding the right therapist matters, and I would be honored to learn more about your story, answer your questions, and help you determine whether we're a good fit. Even if you're unsure where to begin, you don't have to have it all figured out before taking that first step.

Treatment Approach

  • Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I believe that lasting change begins with feeling genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. Therapy is more than learning coping skills or solving problems—it's an opportunity to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore difficult emotions, uncover patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels comfortable while gently challenging the beliefs and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. Because every person is unique, I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. My work is always guided by your goals, strengths, and values. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, betrayal or infidelity, trauma, infertility, pregnancy or postpartum transitions, perimenopause, grief, body image concerns, or another significant life transition, my goal is to help you gain insight, build emotional resilience, and experience meaningful, lasting change. I view emotional well-being through a whole-person lens, recognizing that our relationships, life experiences, stress, and daily habits all influence our mental health. Together, we'll focus not only on reducing distress but also on cultivating greater self-awareness, resilience, connection, and overall well-being so you can move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

Fees & Insurance

Fees
  • Average Session Fee $180
  • Affordable sliding scale therapy: apply if you may be eligible.
  • I believe that quality mental health care should be as accessible as possible. A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available for clients experiencing financial hardship. Sliding scale appointments are considered on an individual basis and may be available for college and graduate students, individuals with limited income, those experiencing unemployment or significant financial hardship, and others with extenuating circumstances. If cost is a concern, I encourage you to reach out—we can discuss your situation and determine whether a reduced-fee appointment is available. My goal is to help remove barriers to care whenever possible while maintaining a sustainable practice that allows me to continue serving my clients.
Insurance
  • Out of Network
  • I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Upon request, I can provide a detailed superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your individual plan and benefits. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn more about your out-of-network mental health coverage, and I'm happy to answer any questions about the superbill process.
