I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Colorado and Iowa and I have practiced in a variety of settings over the last 19 years including outpatient mental health, primary care clinics, OBGYN clinics, and most recently in an Integrative Medicine practice. I have expertise in perinatal mental health as well as health psychology. I am passionate about supporting parents/soon to be parents as well as healthcare providers with stress and work life balance. I have additional expertise in mindfulness based cognitive therapy (combination of CBT and mindfulness). Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and doing just about anything in the mountains.

Treatment Approach

  • Biopsychosocial Therapy Takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding mental health. It looks at the whole person, not just symptoms.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
