You push yourself to meet demands—at work, in your relationships, in every area of life—because failure is never an option. But no matter how much you achieve, that nagging voice keeps telling you it’s not enough. You overanalyze your mistakes, replay conversations in your head, and wonder why you can’t relax and feel good about where you are. The pressure is relentless. You feel like you’re sprinting toward an invisible finish line that keeps moving. The weight of expectations pushes down upon you. You keep grinding, but deep down, you’re exhausted. You begin to wonder: Does life have to feel this way?
I help individuals break free from perfectionism, self-doubt, and internal/external pressure. I create a space where you can be your real, authentic self. Together, we’ll identify what’s fueling the pressures, challenge the patterns that keep you stuck, and help you build a life that feels authentic, balanced, and fulfilling—all on your terms.
I’m down-to-earth, approachable, and bring levity and humor into our sessions. I’ll always be real with you —challenging you when needed, but always with kindness and respect. My professional goal is for you to grasp your innate power by equipping you with the tools, skills, and confidence to grow into the person you want to be and live the life you deserve. I look forward to connecting with you and learning more about what is going on in your world. I am here to help!

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I focus on establishing a strong therapeutic alliance as we work through your issues/concerns. I strongly emphasize learning and understanding who you are as a human being. Many of my clients have appreciated this approach and feel comfortable as we work through their issues/concerns.
In our initial session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and formulate goals. I primarily operate using CBT and ACT & in sessions, this may look like: challenging negative self-talk and perfectionism by reframing your inner dialogue and treating yourself with kindness or clarifying your values so you can focus on what truly matters to you instead of seeking approval from others.

I believe real change happens through genuine and authentic human connection, so I prioritize cultivating a strong therapeutic relationship with every client. I create a space where you can be real and I’m committed to understanding how your personal identity and life experiences have shaped you.
I’m down-to-earth, approachable, and bring levity and humor into our sessions. I’ll always be real with you and challenge you when needed—like a coach or an older brother—always with kindness and respect. My goal is to equip you with the tools, skills, and confidence to grow into the person you want to be and live the life you deserve.
Therapy with me isn’t just about talking—it’s about recognizing your own power, making real progress, and feeling a sense of relief and self-assurance as we move forward together.
I became a professional counselor because of my own experience working with a therapist as a teenager. The transformational impact of that relationship changed my life, inspiring me to pursue a career in counseling to empower, support, and guide others on their journeys.
I started my career as a college counselor at a prestigious independent high school in Charlotte. While there, I witnessed firsthand how perfectionism, anxiety, feelings of inadequacy, and social pressures prevented teens and young adults from embracing their authentic selves. This experience made me realize I wanted to help in a different way—by providing direct support to young people struggling to balance their own needs with the expectations of parents, teachers, employers, and even themselves.
