I knew I wanted to be a psychologist when I was a 19 y/o old college student majoring in psychology. My therapy approach combines compassion and empathy, positive energy, collaborative problem-solving, and helping others hone in on want they really want. Next, we focus on strategic, growth-oriented and proven therapeutic techniques that work but requires one to get outside of their comfort zone. Getting stuck in one’s so called zone is where joy, confidence, spontaneity and growth tend to disappear and low mood states, anxiety , procrastination and self-doubt thrive. Fortunately, a very high percentage of my therapy clients report significant improvement in their functioning and well-being. I am well-trained in a broad range of evidenced based therapies (EBT) that work.
I hold a master’s degree in experimental psychology from Villanova University, a PhD in clinical psychology from Virginia Tech and a completed post-doctoral fellowship in
cognitive therapy from the School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
