I respect my clients' cultural background and support my clients in using their culture as a strength to help them reach their goals and live in line with their beliefs and values.

Kathleen Shook Practice Description
I utilize IFS (internal family systems) to help clients heal from attachment wounds that have caused clients trauma, anxiety, depression, and anger. When needed, I am able to bring in EMDR for reprocessing, and CBT to help clients get out of thought and behavior patterns that are keeping them stuck. I value humor and intentionality in my practice as a therapist. I believe in practicing what I preach, and never ask clients to do something I myself haven't done on my own growth journey.
