Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) Helps clients challenge and replace irrational beliefs. It is an action-oriented approach for lasting change.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: Our approach to therapy is structured, practical, and insight oriented, with a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and helps clients understand how these patterns contribute to emotional distress and functional challenges. Sessions are collaborative and goal directed, with an emphasis on developing awareness, skills, and new ways of responding over time.
We practice CBT through the model of Rational Living Therapy. Rational Living Therapy is a form of CBT that examines both present day thinking patterns and the deeper belief systems that shape how individuals view themselves, their relationships, and the world. This approach explores why patterns developed, how they are maintained, and how they can be changed in a more sustainable way. By addressing both surface level habits and underlying belief systems, therapy remains purposeful while supporting meaningful, long term change without relying on quick fixes or oversimplified solutions.

Our Mission
Life isn't always easy. Sometimes, even the strongest people amongst us need a little bit of help to work through some of life's more challenging problems. Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point.
Whether you struggle with ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or any other issue, you should know that there is hope for a better tomorrow. Healing & Wellness staff strives to help people become the most whole version of themselves.
We rely on evidence based approaches including Rational Living Therapy (RLT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. While CBT offers practical tools that clients can begin using right away, Rational Living Therapy goes deeper than traditional CBT.
In RLT we look at the beliefs and emotional themes that shape how clients see themselves and respond to the world. This is where the integration of psychodynamic therapy becomes central. Instead of focusing only on changing thoughts, we take time to understand where those thoughts and patterns began and how our experiences influence us in the present. Many clients find this deeper work leads to more lasting growth because we are not just managing symptoms, we are getting to the root of the patterns that keep them stuck.
By combining practical skills with meaningful insight, clients gain clarity, emotional grounding, and confidence in their ability to create change. Sessions are intentional and supportive, helping each person move toward the best and most whole version of themselves.
