Reaching out to start counseling can be scary and overwhelming. Where do you start? How do you even begin to work on feeling better when things have been hard for so long? You’re not alone in these fears, and we know how to help. We understand the bravery it takes to reach out, and we believe that everyone needs and deserves a space to tell their story and find healing and happiness. So our foundation is a professional, warm environment from the initial phone call through meeting your counselor for the first time until the last session. We also provide a comforting, spa like atmosphere with comfortable seating and sparkling water, coffee, and tea to help set the tone while waiting. When starting counseling, our therapists will meet you where you are. There’s no pressure to start talking about the hardest parts first. At the same time, if you are ready to dive in and get straight to it we can handle that too. Wherever you choose to begin, your counselor will support, listen, and guide you toward putting the puzzle pieces together. In our unique counseling approach, our training helps us understand how people get hurt and how to help them heal. We go beyond workbooks and coping strategies to help you find healing at your core. Sessions are 45 minutes and typically 1-2 times per week. Each session, we build upon the momentum we’ve created together and work toward helping you better understand yourself, your story, and how to navigate through your emotional pain to create a happier healthier life. We each have the education, experience, and natural born skills to help you get “unstuck” and feel better.
