People often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what they’re even feeling. You might know something isn’t right, but not yet have the words for it, or you may feel pulled in different directions, unsure which part of you to trust.
In our work together, we slow things down and make space for what’s happening beneath the surface. Rather than rushing toward solutions, I help you understand your emotional world in a way that feels clear, grounded, and meaningful. My approach is collaborative and deeply relational. We pay attention not just to what you’re going through, but to how you experience yourself and others in those moments. Many clients find that they begin to feel more organized internally: emotions that once felt confusing or overwhelming start to make sense. You may notice greater self-compassion, more confidence in your decisions, and a stronger sense of who you are and what you need.
I bring an attachment-informed, evidence-based approach to therapy, drawing on models such as Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT). I work to stay closely attuned to you as an individual, moving at your pace as we explore your history, your relationships, and how they’re shaping your experience right now. Therapy with me is not about fixing you, but about helping you understand yourself more fully and respond to your life with greater clarity and intention. Above all, I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, respected, and supported—where nothing important about your experience has to be minimized, rushed, or handled alone.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens within a safe, attuned relationship. I work collaboratively with clients to understand not just what they’re experiencing, but how their patterns developed and what those patterns are trying to protect. Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based frameworks, and evidence-based practices, I help clients access and process underlying emotions, build self-awareness, and create new ways of relating to themselves and others. Depending on your needs, our work may also incorporate cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness-based interventions, and practical tools to support emotional regulation and daily functioning. I aim to move at your pace, offering both gentle exploration and active guidance, so that therapy feels supportive, meaningful, and effective.
