Megan is a neurodiversity-affirming therapist dedicated to creating a space where clients are respected and empowered in their healing. Megan believes that we are all the experts of our experience, and her role as a therapist is to collaborate with clients– never dictate the direction of their path. Together, she explores what clients want to change, what strengths they bring to therapy, what fits their needs and learning styles, and which therapeutic approaches will best support their goals.
Megan’s practice integrates multiple evidence-based modalities. Whether a client is drawn to EMDR for trauma healing, DBT for emotion regulation, CBT for shifting thought patterns, or a blended, flexible approach, she always tailors the process.
She has extensive experience supporting individuals navigating:
- Developmental and complex trauma
- Parenting
- Autism and ADHD (with an affirming understanding of neurodivergent experiences)
- Substance use concerns
- Burnout and compassion fatigue in healthcare and helping professions
- Culturally responsive and identity-affirming care
Megan’s work centers on curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. She strives to honor the diverse identities, backgrounds, and neurotypes of all individuals, and recognizes the ways culture, environment, and systemic factors shape our experiences. Megan aims to provide a space where clients can explore, heal, unmask, rest, and grow—at their pace, in their way.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
