35 Years of Helping People Transform Their Lives
For more than three decades, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate change, healing, and personal growth. My work as a therapist has shown me the incredible depth, resilience, wisdom, and goodness that exists within every person.
The connections I’ve built with clients — and the positive changes I’ve witnessed — have given my own life profound meaning.
I chose this path because therapy changed my life first. It taught me that lasting growth begins when we courageously look inward with honesty and compassion. No matter where you are in your journey, meaningful change is possible.
If you’re ready to better understand yourself, heal, and create a more fulfilling life, I’m here to help.

Change is a natural ability that we are born with. Our problems are a symptom a blockage of this ability. I learned this in my own journey where I was able to understand how I was preventing my own change and how I could free myself. For over 35 years I have taught people how to make major changes in their lives. I want to help you do this and see who you truly can be.

Treatment Approach
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Developmental Therapy Looks at how childhood and developmental experiences affect current challenges. It aims to repair unmet needs and foster healthy growth.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) Helps clients challenge and replace irrational beliefs. It is an action-oriented approach for lasting change.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Transpersonal Therapy Integrates spirituality and higher states of consciousness with psychology. It encourages growth beyond the individual self.
Approach Description: I believe that each person has within them the capacity to change and grow in a positive manner. If they feel safe and heard they can do this. I also believe that people need to go deep within them in order to feel the truth of their life and to see who they truly are. I do stress emotional depth in my work. For this it is important to understand their family history and how this affected them.
I also help people understand that they have different parts within them. And the goal is to understand these parts and work with them cooperatively.
In addition I help people learn about their personal narrative, what they tell themselves about who they are. This is often a negative story and a major source of their depression. Our work involves discovering their true story. This is very healing.
Basically, I am quite flexible in my approach and find out what works with a particular person.
I also approach my clients with kindness and care. This is important.

My practice is a practice that has evolved over 35 years. I have many methods that can help you. However, most important is a positive relationship with the people I work with so that they feel safe and be able to have an environment that they can trust and that allows them to grow. I also know that each person is unique and needs an approach that best fits them.
