Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and individualized. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood and respected, so I work to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Therapy is not about fixing you, but about helping you better understand yourself and develop tools that support growth and resilience. I use evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, core beliefs, and behaviors that contribute to anxiety, depression, stress, and self-doubt. Together, we work to clarify concerns, recognize strengths, and build skills that promote emotional regulation, confidence, and clarity. My style is practical and insight-oriented, blending reflection with actionable strategies clients can apply in their daily lives. My work is trauma-informed and culturally responsive, recognizing the impact of past experiences and the importance of honoring each client’s background, values, and identity. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all solution, and treatment is always tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. Through this collaborative process, clients are supported in moving forward with greater self-awareness, balance, and a renewed sense of direction.
