I have worked in the field of psychology for 26 years now in various capacities, including group homes for children and community mental health centers; I've acted as the Director of Mental Health at a large urban preschool for many years, and also with people of all ages in private practice. My work in the last 5 years has focused more on trauma/EMDR and nervous system regulation (Polyvagal Theory with Stephen Porges) for adolescents and adults as well as parenting support with a speciality in parenting neurodivergent chilren. I have also spent time supervising both psychology trainees and marriage and family interns. I truly love what I do and am always adding to my professional skills over time.

- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.

Approach Description: My approach is integrative, drawing from relational, family systems, behavioral, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed modalities to help clients better understand themselves, shift longstanding patterns, and build more fulfilling lives. My main areas of expertise are in attachment/relational dynamics. mindfulness-based modalities, nervous system regulation approaches, as well as EMDR/trauma treatment.

I especially enjoy working with clients who are motivated for growth—those who are ready to do the work of developing insight, building emotional resilience, and making meaningful shifts in their lives. I currently offer in-person sessions in the West Linn/PDX area, as well as telehealth for clients in Oregon, California, and New York. I also provide parent consultation, with expertise across developmental stages, including support for parents of neurodivergent children. In addition, I offer clinical supervision and consultation. I am an EMDR International Association Certified EMDR Therapist, hold a certificate in Polyvagal Theory, and am a Certified Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) and Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP) provider.
