- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
Approach Description: In our first session, I do a thorough history, explain EMDR & make a plan. Every session after that is usually EMDR, targeting the issues that are important. I also teach how to use the EMDR tools for between sessions and for the rest of your life.
