According to my clients, one of the things they most appreciate about me is that I listen - actually listen - to what is said and unsaid. I don't tell them how they should or shouldn't feel. My first step is understanding what is bringing you to therapy. Then, I focus on learning about your life and all the different parts that impact you: your specific brain, your family, your work, which parts of your identity matter most to you, and your social and economic stressors. And as I understand you better, I offer support as well as interventions to move you toward your goals.
As a single parent of 3 boys with varying presentations of ADHD and autism, I am very familiar with parenting stresses. I have worked in a variety of positions, from education to foster care to Medicaid services, and I use all of those experiences to support my clients. I like to say that I am the expert in counseling, but you are the expert on you.

Treatment Approach
- Brainspotting A therapy that uses eye positions to access and process unresolved trauma. It helps release emotional and physical pain held in the body.
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) An evidence-based treatment for PTSD that teaches clients to reframe unhelpful thoughts about trauma. It helps reduce guilt, shame, and fear.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Schema Therapy Identifies deep-rooted negative patterns formed in childhood. It combines CBT, attachment theory, and experiential methods for change.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I believe that learning, understanding, and allowing emotions is one of the most important things to your emotional health. I believe that who you are as a person (neurodivergence, personality, intelligence, etc...), your experiences in childhood and throughout life, and your current life all contribute to who you are. I believe that your feelings and your body are connected, and making your body feel safe is necessary for emotional health as well. I utilize modalities that help you feel your feelings, reduce and eliminate shame, and help your body relax.

Our practice is a trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming practice dedicated to supporting individuals and families through clarity, healing, and meaningful change. We understand that emotions, behaviors, and relationships are shaped by lived experiences, nervous systems, and environments—not personal failure. Our approach centers compassion, context, and collaboration, helping clients better understand themselves and their patterns without shame.
We provide counseling for adults and families navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, parenting challenges, identity exploration, and the impacts of trauma, with particular attention to ADHD and autism across the lifespan. In addition to therapy, we offer private-pay ADHD and autism assessments for ages 16 and up, parenting education, and parental capacity evaluations. We also offer coaching services for executive functioning, relationships, and parenting. These services are designed to reduce confusion, support informed decision-making, and strengthen relationships through a whole-person, whole-family lens.
