I help change the world by creating more agents of love. Trauma and loss interfere with our ability to love. By healing trauma, we are free to give and receive love. At The Safe Space, we help each other understand our pasts to identify and change patterns of behavior no longer serving us. Our goal will be to make reflection a cherished hobby.

Approach Description: I use a variety of cognitive-behavioral techniques meant to get the client into the habit of reflecting on their choices. The aim is to increase the client's ability to act in ways most suitable to their growth and fulfillment. During sessions, clients should expect to: talk through the issues that brought them to therapy, Listen to their own self-talk, Reflect on past choices and prepare for the future, make connections between current behaviors and broader patterns, discuss and accept the anxiety that comes with change, practice noticing the positive aspects of life, define their values and identity, explore the dynamic in their relationships, learn how to make authentic choices, and gain self-awareness and flexibility.

The Safe Space offers a unique perspective to psychotherapy in that approach is specific to the reality of the client instead of a theory. You are here because you have reached an impasse and know that SOMETHING has to change, but still figuring out what that something is. Let us start with a 10-minute conversation. Our goal is for you to look at therapy as an opportunity to heal so you can live life on your terms. To heal, we must be willing to change. To change, we must be ready to take responsibility for our choices.
