In-Person in Saint George, UT 84790
For more than 20 years, I’ve helped individuals, couples, and families find healing and hope. My experience spans a wide range of challenges, including trauma (PTSD), anxiety, depression, marital and relationship concerns, anger management, addictions, and parenting struggles.
I began my career working with teens in residential treatment, supporting youth ages 13–17 with issues such as ADHD, Asperger’s, and substance use. Later, I joined LifeSTAR of St. George, where I worked extensively with individuals and couples facing pornography and sexual addiction/compulsion.
I am a certified EMDR therapist, specializing in trauma recovery. Whether the trauma stems from abuse, assault, relational pain, combat, or first-responder experiences, I use proven approaches to help clients find relief and reclaim their lives. My goal is simple: that you leave each session feeling more hopeful and supported than when you arrived.

Treatment Approach
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I draw from a variety of evidence-based methods, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Christian Counseling. Each plan is tailored to your unique needs and values.
