With specialization in trauma recovery, I have experience and training working with survivors of domestic violence. My hope is to create a safe space to process the pain and heal from the wounds of the past, having a healthier relationship with yourself and with others.
There are many people who support the victims of Domestic Violence and Abuse. I am most interested in working with perpetrators. In my office, you'll find a place where you'll be listened to with respect. I've found that most who engage in violence and/or abuse were victims first. Let's collaborate to learn why you treat the ones you love the way you do, and then work out some other ways to create lasting positive relationships.

Undergoing abuse in relationships is shocking, unexpected, humiliating, and confusing. It typically happens in cycles that leaves the victim insecure in the relationship, fearful of when it might happen again, and unable to be authentically themselves out of fear of triggering the next cycle of violence. If you are in a situation like this, we can support you. When you are going through it, its hard to think clearly and be confidant in the decisions you are making and the boundaries you are setting. We understand this mental struggle and we are here to support you and help you stabilize yourself and your life.
Our work in Family Law has equipped us with expertise in working with interpersonal violence. We are here to help you manage the significant challenges in a relationship with IPV and assist you on issues of safety and restructuring your boundaries as you move through the process.
The approach for problems of domestic abuse focuses on the character of the domestic situation and the negative responses of the abusing partner which through the application of several possible therapies can be eliminated.
I strive to not make assumptions, but to listen to you with an open mind, to respect you and your feelings, to be sensitive yet objective and flexible, honest, and direct. My challenge is to craft a treatment specifically for you and your unique needs and to keep you clearly in my focus.
