Women’s Issues, which I call Women’s Counseling for Empowerment can encompass so many areas. My area of focus is on helping you start to look at what is important to you, who you are, and what you want. Society and upbringing have often encouraged women to become caretakers to others. What happens sometimes is that women lose focus on what is important to them. They instead focus on others' wants and needs and may become burned out and feel lost and exhausted. Therapy is a wonderful and safe place where you can begin to think about what is important to you outside of your many roles and responsibilities. Empowerment can mean shining the light on yourself and stepping into who you are meant to be in this lifetime. We will work together on connecting back to yourself, creating better self-care and self-compassion, setting boundaries, reducing stress, and discovering unrealized hopes and dreams.

I dedicate myself to the unique experiences and challenges faced by women, offering a compassionate and empowering space for exploration and growth. I understand the intricate tapestry of emotions and societal pressures that women navigate daily, from personal identity and relationships to career and family dynamics. Our journey together focuses on embracing and strengthening the inner self, overcoming obstacles, and celebrating womanhood in all its forms. It's about creating a life that resonates with one's truest desires, fostering a sense of fulfillment, empowerment, and profound self-love.

Let's face it. It's hard being a female in our society. The pressure to look, act, and talk a certain way is engrained in us from an early age. If you want to break out of the script or mold you've been assigned and explore who you are underneath the prescribed role, this message might be a sign to explore this with someone!
