As a queer neurodivergent person and immigrant, I'm deeply passionate about connecting my communities to affirming, accessible mental health care. I've helped hundreds of people to get "un-stuck" from difficult pasts and repetitive cycles and to move toward clarity, connection, community, and a life they enjoy living. I'd love to help you on your own journey forward, with me by your side as your ally and co-conspirator.

I have a passion for helping clients reduce anxiety, stress, confusion, sadness, and pain - so that they can live more fulfilling, authentic, and happy lives. Many of my clients have stated that coming to therapy has helped to catapult them out of their stagnation - enabling them to reach their full potential. For clients who have had difficulty finding a therapist who can understand their complex and intersecting identities, I can be a breath of fresh air. I work with folks ages 15 and up.

As a licensed therapist and passionate advocate for mental health equity, I founded CMHC with a clear mission: to create an affirming, inclusive, and culturally diverse space where LGBTQ+ individuals and people from all backgrounds can feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My journey into therapy was shaped by both personal experience and a professional calling—recognizing the deep need for compassionate, identity-affirming care in communities that have too often been marginalized or overlooked.

You deserve a space where you don’t have to explain or shrink who you are. I work from a queer-affirming, trans-affirming, and trauma-informed lens to support individuals navigating identity, transition, relationships, and major life changes. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from their authenticity, or unsure of the next step. Together we create space to slow down, explore, and reconnect with yourself. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empowerment. Whether you're questioning, in transition, or working through old patterns, I’m here to support you in building a life that feels aligned with your truth. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you feel seen, grounded, and understood.

As a therapist, I approach this work through a somatic lens, recognizing that what we experience emotionally is often held in the body, not just in our thoughts. I support clients in understanding their patterns while also helping them build a more regulated and grounded relationship with themselves. This means we’re not only talking about what’s happening, but also paying attention to how it’s showing up physically and how to shift those responses over time. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or a major life transition, my goal is to create a space that feels steady, collaborative, and connected, where you can feel supported both in your internal experience and in how you relate to others in your life.

New Haven is home to Yale University and presents one of the sharpest town-and-gown economic contrasts in the United States, where an immensely wealthy private university coexists with a city that has among the highest poverty rates in Connecticut, creating two almost entirely separate mental health landscapes within the same city limits. Yale's counseling and psychiatric services are among the best-resourced university mental health programs in the country, while residents in low-income neighborhoods face significant barriers to mental health care despite being in one of the country's wealthiest states. Yale New Haven Hospital's behavioral health programs serve both communities to some degree, and community mental health centers provide publicly funded care. Common therapy concerns range from academic perfectionism and identity stress in the Yale community to trauma, depression, economic anxiety, and systemic inequality for the city's permanent working-class and low-income residents.
