Each of us faces obstacles and difficulties in life differently, and at times we can all use help. Individuals frequently seek my services during times of transition, when decision making appears to have a greater impact on our future directions.
I work with clients who struggle with Relationship issues. During our sessions, we will collaborate to create a plan for addressing them that helps you get your relationship back on track. We will explore relationship based trauma and treat this as well as explore personality styles and differences. I practice from a Holistic perspective and commonly employ EMDR and other effective modalities with helping clients achieve balance and purpose in their lives and creative solutions to their problems. This includes exploring past issues and trauma that may be a factor presently.
As a psychotherapist, I incorporate structural family therapy to work with couples by focusing on the underlying structures and dynamics within their relationship. This approach allows us to identify and address patterns that may be causing conflict or dissatisfaction. I help couples map out their current relational patterns, including boundaries and roles, and work together to reorganize these structures in a way that promotes healthier interactions. Through structured interventions, we explore how these dynamics impact their connection and communication. My goal is to empower couples to establish more effective and balanced ways of relating to one another, enhancing their overall relationship satisfaction and fostering a more supportive and cohesive partnership.
Every relationship has its challenges. Sometimes it takes an outside person to help you and your partner work through these challenges in an empathic and objective way. I use techniques that have been proven to work. Together, we will create a trusting and safe environment where you and your partner can talk openly about the issues that divide you. I don’t take sides or place blame. Instead, I work to understand each of you as individuals and as a couple. Our work will focus on building better communication skills, having more positive experiences as a couple, and coping more effectively with challenges. Together, you and your partner can build a stronger relationship.
