Using Core Transformation and Wholeness Work we can resolve the anxiety or fear on a a deep emotional level. I will be interested in what you are actually experiencing, rather than a previous diagnosis. "Social Anxiety," for instance, can mean any of a number of things: feeling "judged," being overly concerned about what others think, "mind reading" (believing you know others' thoughts, even though you don't), a difficulty communicating or engaging with others. Once we tease out the particularities, I will use Core Transformation and Wholeness (and standard hypnosis sometimes) to resolve them.
Self-talk, self-perception, self-esteem may also come into play; I have special ways of working with these.
I recognize the challenges that social anxiety causes in individuals lives. I have helped many clients overcome social anxiety through using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and relaxation techniques. Much of this therapy focuses on helping clients improve their sense of self-compassion and self-acceptance. I also help clients explore how to improve their communication and overall relationship patterns.
